Lisa Spencer (Ershig) has practiced interior design in Carmel, California and Western Washington for more than 20 years. She initially developed her professional skills working for Carl V Teresa as an Associate Designer in a mid-size firm. There she developed a wide range of knowledge and expertise dealing primarily with art and antique-collecting residential clients in the Carmel and Pebble Beach area. In 1988 she was promoted to the position of Managing Senior Designer of the firm. Her design experience then expanded into the commercial areas of restaurant and art gallery design. At this time she also was a consulting designer and coordinator for The Pebble Beach Company Resort and Golf Course and its special events department.

In 1994 Lisa changed residence to the Pacific Northwest. Since establishing Lisa Spencer Interiors Inc., she has enjoyed working on many custom residential and commercial projects from restaurants and physical therapy offices to the interior merchandising and marketing for multi-family home builders and developers.

More recently she has been responsible for numerous hospitality projects as well as corporate retreats in Washington and Oregon. Working closely with these clients she planned the concept and aesthetic for the interiors. A special challenge arose in these projects where the desire for a certain style of furnishing either wasn't readily available or it was not within the projected budget. Not willing to sacrifice the quality or vision of the overall concept, Lisa designed custom furnishings exclusively for each location and closely supervised the detailed manufacturing process. This endeavor was exceptionally inspiring, sparking her passion for fine and unique things, good value and hands on involvement.
